Gatherings · Human Signal
A room for people
using AI on real work.
Human Signal is a bi-monthly gathering in Austin. Six evenings a year, capped at 32 people, each one built around a single honest question about using AI without losing the human part of the work. Hosted by me. Not a panel, not a pitch.
How it works.
Who it is for.
Founders and operators. Salon and studio owners. Clinic owners. Independent practitioners. People who run something and are already using AI on it, badly or well, and have opinions about what it is doing to the work.
Deliberately not a room of engineers talking to each other. The useful version of this evening is the one where a salon owner who automated her booking sits next to an operator rebuilding a team around AI, and they find out they have the same problem.
What an evening looks like.
The first four themes.
- The work you stopped doing yourself, and whether you can still do it.
- Taste, when everyone has the same tools and the same output.
- Burnout in a year of infinite output. More capacity has not meant more rest.
- The line you will not cross. What you would never hand to a model, and why.
